A massive campaign was launched by five members from the movie world in Arizona to attract the attention of the officials seeing the decreasing state of the entertainment industry.

This got the Arizona officials to their feet and the declaration of a new act that will lure the movie makers to shoot more movies in the state in the near future. This is the immediate outcome of the campaign of course.

The step was taken in context of boosting up the regions economical status. Only till a few years ago this place was one of the prime stop for any movie and television-series backdrop but all of a sudden everything crashed.

But now the state officials are ready with effective measures to promote the movie and entertainment business so that they can bring it back to the same level as it used to be.

Only two movies were filmed in Arizona in the last two years. One is ‘Transamerica,’ of a New York producer and the other one is ‘Forget About It,’ by Burt Reynolds. With the goal of promoting the business, a Film Day was organized in the capitol.

Hopefully things will be gain momentum in the days ahead.
