Australian born actress Cate Blanchett, who is famous for her roles in movies like The Aviator and Babel, is set to play an altogether different role. She would appear as a vamp in the movie Indiana Jones-4.

Everybody was thinking that Blanchett would play Harrison Ford’s love, who will appear in the movie now and then, shower the hero with some kisses and hugs. But to the surprise of many she has announced that she wants to break her cozy image on the screen and thus she has decided to play this negative role.

For the moment, the film is tentatively titled Indiana Jones & the City of the Gods, but there are chances that we might have a different name when movie finally hits the theatre. The film shoot is schedule to begin very soon in New Haven, Connecticut.

Cate Blanchett hogged the limelight for her appearance in her first high-profile role in Elizabeth I of England in the 1998. She also won the Academy Award for the same. Earlier this year Blanchett was listed among 100 Most Influential People in The World by Time Magazine.
